Teppo Järvinen is a Finnish designer for stage and television and also known for exhibition architecture and graphic design. He has degrees both in architecture (1999) and set design (1997) from Aalto University.
Teppo has worked in several major theatres and stages in Finland:
The Finnish National Theatre, The Finnish National Opera, The Tampere Theatre, TTT and the City Theatres of Helsinki, Espoo, Turku, Oulu and Seinäjoki. He has also worked at GöteborgsOperan in Gothenburg and made designs for independent Finnish productions.
His designs for stage include mordern and classical drama, opera, musical theatre and many premieres of new Finnish drama. He has also made around 100 designs for television, a variety of sets from game shows and comedy panels to talk shows, news and election studios. Exhibition design for museums and graphic design for art and architectural books with designing logos, brochures and marketing material for theatrical productions are also close to his heart.
Teppo is married to director Tiina Puumalainen.
